Transparent, Upfront Pricing
Straightforward pricing, with no guessing about what your visit will cost. We’ll discuss the cost of any additional procedure before moving forward.
Time to Actually Be Heard

Pathology
When a biopsy is performed, BallDerm, a pathology company, charges separately for examining the specimen and providing the pathology report.
If you have insurance, we recommend contacting BallDerm before the pathology is billed to ask about their self-pay price and what your insurance will allow (the “allowed amount,” not the “billed amount”). The amount your insurance allows may be higher than BallDerm’s self-pay price, so comparing the two may help you determine which option is more affordable.
If you choose to pay BallDerm as self-pay rather than using insurance, the payment generally will not count toward your insurance in-network deductible. Insurance policies vary, so please check with your insurance company to confirm how self-pay services are treated under your specific plan.
Prescriptions
Prescription costs are separate from our office, and are determined by your pharmacy and prescription insurance benefits.
If your insurance requires a prior authorization, we will typically look for an appropriate alternative medication when possible.
