For patients that are uninsured or out-of-network we offer the following:
Self-Pay Telemedicine, Evaluation & Diagnostic, and/or Medication Management Visits:
- up to 10 minutes – $95
- 11-15 minutes – $116
- 16-20 minutes – $139
- 21-25 minutes – $169
- 26-30 minutes – $189
- 31-35 minutes – $220
- 36-40 minutes – $250
- 41-45 minutes – $305
- 55-60 minutes – $378
Most patient visits are between 15 and 30 minutes.
Prices for procedures (biopsies, freezing, incisions and drainage, injections, etc) are separate.
Shave biopsies are most common:
1st Shave Biopsy (11102) – $145
Each Additional Shave Biopsy (same visit, 11103) – $75
Punch Biopsies are not as common:
1st Punch Biopsy (11104) – $185
Each Additional Punch Biopsy (same visit, 11105) – $95
Prior Authorization & Tier Waiver Requests:
- If your insurance requires a prior authorization (a “PA”) Dr. Chiritescu will typically find an alternative medication for you.
- *We cannot guarantee that if we complete the prior authorization the medication will be covered by insurance, because unfortunately pre-authorizations are a tactic used by insurance companies to lower their costs, and each insurance policy has its own prescription plan and coverage.*
- If a pre-auth is denied by insurance, a patient may still pay for the medication as cash-pay without going through insurance (try goodrx.com for coupons and call the pharmacy and transfer the prescription to where most affordable).
