4) Friendly reminder: New Age Dermatology and Ball Derm are not the same company!  Ball Derm is a dermatology pathology company.  What this means is when a patient has a biopsy done, the specimen is sent to Ball Derm, where they examine the specimen under microscope and determine the diagnosis (benign, basal cell carcinoma, etc).  Ball Derm charges a separate fee that they bill directly to the patient for this specimen analysis.
